Corporate Wi-Fi, designed, measured and certified
Wi-Fi engineering for business environments, by Hamina-certified engineers: we design on the floor plan, measure on the real installation and optimise on data.

Diagnosis
Wi-Fi fails because of design, hardly ever because of the hardware
When we’re called about Wi-Fi, the problem is usually where the access points were placed and how they were configured.
What we find
What we do
There are areas it doesn’t reach
Predictive design on the plans and a site survey to put each access point where it’s needed.
It drops when you move around the office
Roaming configured and cells with just the right overlap.
It slows down when it’s busy
Designed for capacity, not just coverage: channels, power and number of APs based on users.
Guests get onto the company network
SSIDs mapped to VLANs and an isolated guest network.
Nobody knows whether the Wi-Fi is good or bad
Site survey with Hamina and a report with heatmaps for every parameter.
Access points all doing their own thing
Central management of the whole wireless network.
What we do
Wi-Fi is radio, not just access points
One badly placed access point, or one with the wrong power, spoils the whole network. That’s why Wi-Fi is designed, measured and documented.
Predictive design
On the plans, before buying anything: how many access points you need, where they go and with what channels and power.
Site survey and certification
On-site measurement with Hamina, on new networks and on ones already in use.
RF design
Channels, power, capacity and cell overlap calculated for the real users and devices.
Segmentation
SSIDs mapped to VLANs: staff, guests with client isolation, IoT and devices.
Roaming
Well-sized cells and, where the infrastructure and devices support it, 802.11k, 802.11v and 802.11r: moving between access points without dropping a call or a video meeting.
Central management
The entire wireless network from one console, with Aruba, Ruckus, Ubiquiti or Fortinet.
Designed for capacity
Devices per radio, airtime and real applications (Teams, Zoom, VoIP, streaming, cloud): classrooms, auditoriums and meeting rooms are designed by density, not by square metre.
Spectrum management
2.4, 5 and 6 GHz bands, channels, channel widths and power all planned: more power doesn’t mean better Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi 6, 6E and 7 depending on the environment.
Enterprise Wi-Fi security
WPA2/WPA3 Enterprise with 802.1X and RADIUS to identify users or devices, and guests isolated from the corporate network.

From floor plan to certified network

Before installation
Predictive coverage design
On the plans we calculate how many access points are needed and where, with their channels, power and capacity. So you buy just what you need and install once, as at IMPAG Iberia.
- Placement and number of access points
- Channels and power
- Capacity per area
- Cell overlap

After installation
Site survey and certification with Hamina
We measure the real network point by point and compare it with the design. You get a full report with heatmaps for every parameter and our recommendations.
- Coverage, RSSI and SNR
- Interference
- Cell overlap and channel usage
- Roaming and performance
Also secondary coverage for mobility, real utilisation of each channel and capacity available per area: objective RF parameters, not the user’s impression of coverage.

Vendors
The vendor that fits each network
Aruba Networking at IMPAG and FAC, Ruckus at a corporate office, FortiAP managed from the firewall at Boldtic and Ubiquiti at Bobo Choses. We choose to fit the project, not the other way round.
- Central management
- SSID per VLAN
- Client isolation
Beyond the access point
Wi-Fi depends on what’s behind it
An access point is only one part of the system. We design Wi-Fi together with switching, security and internet breakout, and check that uplinks and links have capacity for the wireless traffic.
- PoE switching
- VLAN
- Routing
- Firewall
- DHCP
- DNS
- RADIUS
- Backbone
- WAN
- Internet
Well-designed Wi-Fi isn’t much use if there’s a bottleneck behind it in the switching, the WAN or the internet connection.

What you get
Wi-Fi you can prove
We don’t sign off a network because devices connect to it: we measure it to check how it really performs.
- Predictive RF design: number and placement of access points
- Coverage plans with signal maps and RF parameters
- Channel and power plan
- SSID, VLAN, security and authentication configuration
- Validation site survey with RSSI and SNR maps
- Interference and channel utilisation analysed
- Final validation report and infrastructure documentation
After installation
The project doesn’t end with the installation
From our NOC we monitor access points, switching, uplinks, PoE, latency, packet loss and WAN connectivity, with history to catch outages, saturation or degradation before anyone notices.

FAQ
What’s the difference between a predictive design and a site survey?
A predictive design is done on the plans before installation and decides how many access points are needed and where. A site survey is done by measuring on site, with the network installed, to check it meets the design.
Can you review the Wi-Fi we already have?
Yes. A site survey of your current network shows where coverage fails, what interference there is and whether the problem is design, configuration or capacity.
What does the Hamina report include?
Heatmaps for coverage, RSSI, SNR, interference, cell overlap and channel usage, with recommendations to fix whatever falls short.
Which vendors do you work with?
Aruba Networking, Ruckus, Ubiquiti and Fortinet (FortiAP). We choose the vendor to fit the project.
Can the guest network see the company network?
No. Guests are on their own VLAN, with client isolation and no access to the corporate network.
Self-assessment
Is your Wi-Fi designed or just installed?
Designed for coverage and capacity, an isolated guest network and the rest of a network audit’s checks, in three minutes.
