Which attacks would your company’s defences stop?

Attacks don’t follow a single path: some start with an email, others with an unpatched VPN or a laptop that’s already inside the office. Switch on the defences your company has today, launch four attacks at once and see which are stopped, at which step, and what barrier is left if the first one fails.

Defence in depth

No defence is enough on its own. Several, combined, are.

Each control cuts different steps, and no attack goes through all of them: two-factor doesn’t see an unpatched VPN and the firewall doesn’t see email fraud. If one control fails, through human error, a forgotten setting or a new technique, the next one stops it. That’s why well-protected organisations don’t rely on a single measure.

Before they get in

Email protected with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, two-factor on every sign-in and a managed firewall that blocks known malicious connections. They make it less likely the attack starts at all.

Once inside

A segmented network stops a compromised device from reaching critical systems, and monitoring spots unusual behaviour in time to act. They limit how far the attacker gets.

If everything fails

An immutable, isolated backup with a tested restore ensures the business can get running again without depending on the attacker. It decides how long the impact lasts.
